Gospel of Wealth Analysis

This lesson introduces the question, “What is the government’s role in the economy?” Students will learn about the laws and norms of the American government and economy in the 18th and 19th centuries by analyzing Andrew Carnegie’s Gospel of Wealth (1889). It includes a PowerPoint and an activity.
